Okay, okay. The missing person card did the trick, so I'm making my reservation. And since I didn't attend the last reunion, here's my mini bio since graduation.
I have been a free-lance court reporter since 1979, which allows me to have a whole bunch of initials after my name even though I didn't go to medical school.
I married Anthony Gallegos (East Carbon) in 1993 at Moose, Wyoming. Tony is a mining engineer by education. He works as a reclamation specialist in the Abandoned Mines Program for the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining. I met Tony in 1991 when I reported his deposition in a civil case with a mine owner.
We are DINKs and are fairly self-indulgent, however, we are the housekeeping staff for three cats we are presently serving. Tony also teaches "River Running" classes at the University of Utah for his fun job, and so we do a lot of river rafting and canoeing. This activity, however, is much less stressful without actual students. We've recently started doing some international traveling and hope to do a lot more in the future.
In my spare time I garden and raise orchids, do some other crafty sorts of things, and I'm contemplating learning Spanish. Tony's spare time is spent training for and competing in 5Ks, 10Ks, marathons and X-Adventures, which has caused my hair to turn nearly completely white. It's sometimes incredibly nauseating living with "Mr. Fitness America."
How sad that my life's story since graduation fills only a single sheet of paper, almost, but there you have it.
I'm looking forward to August 10th and 11th.
