Comments from 2011:
I have retired from the Construction industry after close to 40 years. I earned an Associates degree in Construction technology at Weber State in 1987 and opened my own business. I sold my shares in 2007 and retired.
I am a Grandpa to 3 grand-sons and 1 grand-daughter. The first grand-son has graduated high school and is attending WSU. Can't wait for the Great-children! DAMN WER'RE GETTIN' OLD!
I keep pretty busy with my retirement-golfing, cruising, working in the yard and pissin' off my wife of 28 years. We also, have recreation property at Sourdough Wilderness Ranch that we are able, to go up during the week-days and enjoy a whole mountain for ourselves.
I wish good luck to all of you!
Hi everybody! -2001
Had a ball at the golf
tournament - Ok, maybe, closer to a half-dozen balls. I have to commend and
say thank-you to the organizing committee for all of their hard work. Getting
everyone together and making all of those arrangements has to be quite a task.
How time flies when we get out of high school. Hard to believe that it has been
Here is my last 30 years in a nutshell. I got married right after high school and divorced right after my marriage. We managed to stay married long enough to have one son though. (I married Marvin Campbell's little sister Debbie). Now I have two beautiful grandsons and a beautiful new wife for 18 years now. We don't have any children together.
I have been working in the construction industry since 1973 as a journeyman cement finisher. I worked on some noteable projects such as the Ogden City Mall, Glen Canyon dam bridge, Ogden Hilton hotel, and a lot of other projects throughout Utah, Arizona, Nevada & Montana. A skiing accident broke my femur in 1985 and put an end to my career as a cement finisher (yay!). That's a young mans sport anyway.
After the Doctor told me that I had to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up, I went to Weber State and got a degree in Construction technology. In 1993 I started my own business called Consolidated Paving & Concrete inc..(we're in the white trucks with the blue & black diamond - CP). We specialize in government contracting, streets, roads, and parking lots. Our company currently employs 34 people. The point I am trying to make is - I'm still hanging around in the parking lots and it has finally paid off for me!
I am still in Ogden-my personal information is on this site, and I would love to hear from you anytime. Life is short - let's keep in touch!
